The Corporate Partnerships Officer is a key member of our development team, focused on maximizing corporate revenue and delivering an exceptional partner experience. With a donor-centric approach, this role utilizes relationship-building and strategic planning to develop and implement initiatives that inspire and engage corporate donors. This role requires a dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic individual with a go-getter attitude and a drive to meet and exceed fundraising goals.

Reporting to the Director of Leadership Giving, the Corporate Partnerships Officer will play a pivotal role in providing existing and prospective corporate partners with meaningful opportunities to impact health care delivery across New Brunswick.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a pipeline of corporate partners to build and sustain a robust pipeline and increase revenues.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate prospects, ranging from $1,000 to $500,000, using personalized, face-to-face engagement strategies.
  • Initiate and strengthen corporate relationships with key donors through systematic cultivation and stewardship strategies.
  • Actively solicit and secure sponsorships to reach the sponsorship goals for all Foundation events.
  • Recruit cause-related marketing partnerships to expand corporate support and align business goals with impactful healthcare initiatives.
  • Create and implement strategies to engage corporate partners in workplace giving programs, including employee giving, matching gift programs, and payroll deduction campaigns, to enhance corporate fundraising efforts and deepen partner relationships.
  • Identify and pursue new corporate prospects through research, networking, cold outreach, and leveraging existing connections to build new partnerships and expand the Foundation's corporate donor base.
  • Create and develop donor communication materials including sponsorship packages, customized proposals, presentation decks, and impact reports.
  • Develop tailored stewardship and recognition plans to ensure corporate donors are acknowledged and appreciated in keeping with donor expectations and established standards.
  • Fully utilize Raiser's Edge NXT database platform to maintain donor and prospect records including tracking interactions, producing reports, and analyzing results.
  • Attend networking events and engagement opportunities to cultivate and build relationships and elevate the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation’s brand.
  • Keep current and knowledgeable of industry trends in corporate giving and sponsorship.
  • Perform other corporate giving activities as may be required.

What we want to see from you

  • University degree/College diploma in a relevant field or a related mix of education and fundraising experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive, well-rounded experience in fundraising, project management and/or relationship management roles.
  • Exceptional relationship-building with proven ability to authentically connect with a wide variety of audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation.
  • Passion for the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation’s mission.
  • Ability to think strategically, work independently, and manage competing priorities in a high-volume and results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with donor/prospect databases (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectively with individuals across the organization.
  • Demonstrated tact and an ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Demonstrated commitment to principles of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and AntiRacism (IDEAA).
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment that requires a flexible schedule, including travel and occasional weekends and evenings.
  • Access to a vehicle and valid driver's licence.
  • CFRE designation considered an asset.

Hiring salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 per annum for 37.5 hours per week.
