Making Waves for Mental Health: A Community Triumph at Race-By-The-Sea Dragon Boat Festival

In September, our healthcare family experienced an extraordinary wave of support! The Race-By-The-Sea Saint Andrews International Dragon Boat Festival chose our Foundation as its first-ever charitable partner, and together, we paddled toward an incredible goal: raising funds to support mental health and wellness initiatives in our community.

This partnership was more than just a collaboration; it was a powerful testament to what our community can achieve when we come together. Thanks to the dedicated Saint Andrews Paddling Club, determined teams, enthusiastic volunteers, generous donors, supportive sponsors, and all the spirited cheerleaders who lined the shore, this event raised an impressive $28,707!

Paddling for Exceptional Care

Every dollar raised will go directly toward enhancing mental health resources in our region, ensuring that those who need support receive it. The impact of these initiatives will ripple through our community, providing hope and care to those struggling with mental health challenges.

The success of the Race-By-The-Sea Dragon Boat Festival, along with countless other community-led fundraisers, underscores a simple but profound truth: Our region is filled with compassionate people committed to making a difference in healthcare. Each contribution, big or small, is a stroke toward a healthier, more supportive future for all.

To the Saint Andrews Paddling Club, every participant, volunteer, donor, and sponsor: thank you. Your enthusiasm, generosity, and community spirit truly made a splash! Together, we’re not just raising funds—we’re fostering resilience, hope, and wellness for everyone in our region.

Here’s to many more years of making waves together!
