A Joyful Ride to Better Health: Introducing Pediatric Cars for Kids!

At the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation, we always strive to make healthcare experiences as comforting and uplifting as possible—especially for our youngest patients. Thanks to an incredible act of generosity, a hospital visit just became a little more fun!

We’re thrilled to announce a heartwarming addition to our pediatric care program: Pediatric Cars for Kids! These pint-sized, luxurious vehicles were generously gifted by the Murphy and Springer families, proud owners of the Saint John Tim Hortons locations. Their kindness and community spirit have brought an exciting innovation to our hospital that promises to make a big difference.

More Than Just a Fun Ride!

The concept behind these cars is simple but powerful. By allowing children to "drive" to their treatments, these small vehicles help create a sense of control and independence. This engaging experience reduces anxiety and transforms what can often be a stressful situation into a playful adventure. The joy these cars bring helps ease the nerves of both the children and their families, making hospital visits a little less daunting and a lot more cheerful.

The gift of these Pediatric Cars is more than just a fun distraction—it’s a reminder of the power of community generosity. Imagine the smiles and giggles of young patients as they cruise down hospital hallways on their "road trip to better health." These joyful moments wouldn't be possible without the big-hearted support from the Murphy and Springer families and our incredible community.

Your Support Matters

Every smile and every bit of comfort matters. The support from our donors and community members like you fuels these stress-less hospital experiences. Together, we’re not just treating illnesses; we’re nurturing spirits and building hope.

To the Murphy and Springer families and everyone who continues to support our mission, thank you for helping us make pediatric care brighter and more bearable. With your kindness, the road to recovery is filled with more smiles, joy, and strength.

Here’s to happier, healthier journeys for our youngest patients!
