Join us in honouring our veterans with every step!
On May 31st, you’re invited to take a few meaningful steps at the first-ever Bootin’ It for Vets Fun Run!
The event will be a morning filled with laughter, connection, and community spirit held in honour of the veterans who call the Ridgewood Veterans Wing home.
When you register, 100% of your fee goes directly to the Ridgewood Veterans Comfort Fund, helping bring comfort, dignity, and joy to veterans in care.
More things you should know
Registration:
- $30 per individual
- $50 per family (up to 5 people)
100% of your registration will be donated to the Patient Comfort Fund at Ridgewood Veterans Wing, and is eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
Note: The event will accommodate up to 250 participants.

Event Schedule:
- 8:00 AM – Check-in opens
- 9:00 AM – 1KM begins
- 9:30 AM – 2KM and 5KM begin
- 10:00 AM – Kids’ Zone opens (bouncy castles, face painting and face stencils)
- 11:30 AM – Awarding and BBQ

Choose from a 1KM, 2KM, or 5KM route — perfect for every age and ability.

Dress code:
Come as you are! Wear something comfy in red or white to show your support for the veterans.
